Yesterday Don picked up our pictures that we took from our water camera.

What a great weekend we had

at Mountaineer.  We arrived at our hotel around 4:00 pm on Friday.  After we got settled in, we took a drive up to the casino to gamble.  From there we had dinner and than went to a Piano Bar and listened to some old and new tunes as well.  Gosh!  We didnt get back to the hotel until almost 2:00 a.m.!  Slept in on Saturday morning, had breakfast and took a leasurely ride through the quaint town of Chester.  Oh- we stopped at the Fiestaware Outlet Store and found some great bargains too.  Afterwards, Don wanted to go back to the hotel to relax a bit and I wanted to gamble.  He took me back to the casino and picked me up a few hours later.  We than, went and had dinner at the clubhouse, and played the horses.  That was a lot of fun!  On Sunday, when we came home we took a nice bike ride through the Metro parks.

Las Vegas

I've never been to Las Vegas before, but when Don asked me to go back in August, I was thrilled!  He had to go there for a business trip, so we decided to leave a few days earlier so we can set up his booth. Neither of us are gamblers  but we had a blast each night after we were done working.  By the time we arrived at our hotel on Friday night, it wasnt until midnight, but we were so wound up we could not sleep.  Don wanted to show me the strip, so we hopped into a taxi.  It was cool to see all of the hotels lit up and all of the people and action still going on at midnight.  We stopped at the NY NY hotel and ate and by the time we got back into our hotel, it was 3:30 AM!!!!  By this time I had been up for 24 hours straight. 

Walking, shopping, eating  and more walking consumed most of our days.  One evening we saw the show "American Superstars" which was showing at our hotel.  That was very good.  The other show we saw was The "Love" Beatles show, playing at the Mirage hotel and that was excellent!!!!  Don bought our tickets ahead of time, so we had really good seats. A Gondola ride, dinner at an Italian restaurant are just to name a few of the other highlights of the trip.

By the time my body was used to the time change, it was time to go home.  I didnt want to go!!!!  I wanted to stay with Don.  He was staying another day to attend his trade show.  I was nervous at first about passing out brochures and talking to clients, but Don said I did a great job.

What a great trip!!!
